ENT 5591: SMALL BUSINESS MANAGEMENT PRACTICUM

Timeframe:

8 week summer course from June 10 – August 2, 2013

Course Objective:

Examine the principles of business management applicable to solving the problems of entrepreneurial firms.

Format:

  • Week 1: Attend one class to learn about the requirements for the course project.

  • Week 8: Attend one class to present results to your classmates and instructor.

  • Weeks 2-7: Self-study with periodic deadlines to show assignment progress.

Project Topic:

Students will have the option to select from a few project topics, such as consulting with an entrepreneur and recommending solutions or completing a venture screening process for a promising entrepreneurial business idea.
